TLB HIRE
TLB hire for short term or long term contracts. We are based in Midrand, Johannesburg but our TLB’s are often deployed in Limpopo, North West or Mpumalanga.
We deliver and collect our TLB’s using a 12 Ton Rollback.
Can I use my own transport for the TLB I hire?
Yes you can use your own transport but prefer our own TLB transport service due to insurance considerations. Please advise when requesting a quote.
Can I use my own operator for the TLB I hire from you?
No you cannot use your own operators, we provide certified operators.
What does it cost to deliver the TLB to site?
Delivery charges for a TLB are R52/km. (This amount may change as the diesel price fluctuates)
How deep can a TLB dig trenches or excavate?
A TLB can dig to a depth of aproximately 3m, site dependant.
Do you supply diesel for the TLB?
Yes we do provide diesel within a certain radius of our offices. This will be shown as either “wet rate” – includes diesel or “dry rate” – no diesel supplied.
What happens if the TLB has a breakdown?
We have mechanics on the road and 99% of all breakdowns will be done on site by our mechanics.
What volume can the TLB bucket carry?
The front bucket holds 1.8 cubic meters and the rear bucket holds 1/3 of a cubic meter.
